Every summer, older teens and college students join RBC in ministering throughout the state of Wisconsin by teaching Vacation Bible Schools.

The teachers help churches in rural Wisconsin who do not have the resources to hold their own VBS.

VBS teachers with RBC receive one week of training and then travel for 6-8 weeks in the summer. The churches who we partner with provide housing for the teachers the week they are teaching VBS at that church.

Each VBS is different as each group of children are different. Teachers will be involved in the lives of many saved and unsaved children.

RBC not only wants to present the gospel to these children, but also wants to continue the work that is begun in the VBS by helping children get started on memorizing Bible verses. RBC has developed a Bible memory program that we introduce to the children during the vacation Bible schools. It is RBC’s goal that these children continue with the Bible memory program, to grow as believers and/or come to know Christ personally through God’s Word.

“This is an amazing challenge and ministry opportunity to show kids Christ's love and share the gospel of Jesus Christ.”

Being a VBS teacher for RBC is an all-expense-paid missions trip! A teacher for RBC does not have to raise any of their own support! RBC compensates teachers for all their mileage and gas when traveling to and from the VBS. All their meals are supplied by either RBC or the church where they are staying for the week. Churches that host a VBS donate love offerings for the teachers which the teachers receive at the end of the summer. RBC also provides a small stipend for the teachers each week of VBS.
